"Abu Dhabi Sports" Wins the Bronze Award for Best Audience Program

London, 28 November / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Sports Council achieved a new achievement on the international scene after winning the Bronze Award in the “Best Crowd Engagement Programme” category at the Business of Sports Awards, in recognition of its pioneering efforts in engaging the masses and creating distinguished sports experiences during the fourth edition of the Spartan World Championship, which was held during the period from November 28 to December 1, 2024.
The awards ceremony was held at Old Billingsgate Hall, London, in the presence of Nasser Al Zaabi, Executive Director of Strategic Affairs Sector at Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Nasser Al Zaabi said: “The Abu Dhabi Sports Council winning the bronze award in the Best Public Interaction Program category is a direct reflection of our commitment to improving the audience’s experience and providing events that make every participant feel like an essential part of the event. We are constantly working to build a global sports model based on innovation, sustainability, and partnership with society, and this international honor confirms that we are moving in the right direction and motivates us to continue developing modern interaction platforms that enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a global sports capital.”
The fourth edition of the Spartan World Championship 2024 was held in the Al Wathba Desert in Abu Dhabi, organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Spartan, the world’s most prominent brand in the field of endurance and obstacle sports. The championship is one of the most important and largest challenge and endurance championships for physical fitness, and represents the strongest obstacle and obstacle races in the world, which makes organizing the event a successful extension of plans to attract major international events that consolidate Abu Dhabi’s position as a global destination for sports and athletes.
The championship attracted more than 6,500 participants in various races from more than 80 nationalities.
