A match ends with 17 red cards… and tear gas (video)

The match between Real Okoro and Blooming in the Bolivia Cup turned into complete chaos after a violent mass brawl, which required the intervention of 20 policemen who used tear gas to break up the clash. The events began with an argument between Okoro player Sebastian Zeballos and Blooming players, then escalated after another Okoro player intervened and attacked him with punches. Okoro’s coach also suffered a broken shoulder and was taken to hospital.

After the match, the referee issued 17 red cards to players and members of the technical staff from both teams, with additional penalties expected later.
The match ended in a 2-2 draw, but Blooming qualified for the semi-finals with a 2-1 first-leg win.
