Al Ain deepens Sharjah’s wounds and eliminates them from the Professional Cup race

Al Ain team deepened Sharjah’s suffering this season after it renewed its superiority over it yesterday in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the Professional League Cup (Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup) with a well-deserved 4-1 victory, confirming its superiority that it began in the first leg with a score of 3-1.
Al-Zaeem entered the second leg strongly, opening the scoring through an own goal scored by David Petrovic in the 17th minute, and just four minutes later, Laba Kodjo increased the team’s lead with the second goal after wonderful coordination with his colleague Sofiane Rahimi.
Sharjah tried to adjust the score and restore hope in the match, and its player, Ray Manai, was able to score the goal to reduce the difference with a perfect header in the 30th minute.
But this goal was not enough to return Sharjah to the atmosphere of the match, as Sufyan Rahimi succeeded in expanding the difference with a goal through a wonderful individual effort, which he finished with a difficult shot against the Sharjah goalkeeper in the 50th minute.
It was Matias Palacios’ turn to make his mark against the King’s net, with a magical shot from a difficult position that passed between the goalkeeper’s feet in the 61st minute, announcing Al Ain’s brilliance in the match and their easy qualification to the semi-finals.
