A dazzling air show in the skies of Dubai to celebrate the 54th Union Day
DUBAI, 2nd December, 2018 (WAM) – The 54th Union Day celebrations in Dubai were marked by an exceptional experience that witnessed an air show carried out by 10 professional skydivers in a show specially designed for this occasion. Emirati athlete Ahmed Al Shehhi led this unique show, during which participants carried the UAE flag in an aerial formation that embodies the values of pride, belonging, and the spirit of unity, and reflects Dubai’s status as a global city that embraces quality events.
This parade was organized within the framework of the Union Day celebrations program in Dubai by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Corporation, in partnership with Skydive Dubai, to form a celebratory aerial painting that expresses the UAE’s journey and its historical achievements and documents the attachment of its people to the values of union and national cohesion.
This event comes as part of a series of interactive events and activities taking place in Dubai on the occasion of the 54th Union Day, and includes heritage, cultural, artistic and entertainment events that continue until December 3rd to give the public, including citizens, residents and visitors, festive experiences that reflect national identity and highlight manifestations of joy and pride in this dear occasion.
