Swimmer Youssef Muhammad was transferred to the hospital…and the Swimming Federation is checking on his condition

Youssef Mohamed, a player from the Al-Zohour Swimming Club, was transferred to Dar Al-Fouad Hospital, adjacent to the Cairo Stadium, after he fainted while participating in the U-12 Republic Championship competitions currently being held in the swimming pool complex at the Cairo International Stadium. 

During the player’s participation in the 50-meter backstroke competition, after jumping into the water, the swimmer fell down, and rescuers, ambulance officials, and the medical administration quickly intervened. The player was taken out immediately.

 

He received first aid and was transferred to Dar Al Fouad Hospital through the available ambulance, where he is currently undergoing follow-up and medical observation to monitor the player’s condition.

 

The Swimming Federation decided to bear all costs related to the player’s treatment and medical follow-up in accordance with the protocol of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the appropriations of the Federation’s Board of Directors. Swimming.

 

The Board of Directors of the Swimming Federation follows up the player’s medical condition first hand in coordination with the hospital’s doctors.
