Citizens considered this decision a new victory for the Egyptian state and a firm confirmation of respect for the will of the people, stressing that what happened demonstrates the availability of real guarantees to achieve electoral justice and equal opportunities for all. Candidates.

 

 

Over the past hours, social media pioneers have circulated several video clips showing the overwhelming joy of citizens and their gathering chanting slogans in the name of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in the governorate constituencies in which a decision was issued to re-run the elections. Citizens confirmed that these decisions restored their full confidence in the electoral process, and consolidated their feeling that their vote has a value that cannot be ignored or tampered with.

 

This development comes after President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi had directed the National Elections Authority to immediately investigate the complaints and violations witnessed by some constituencies during the recent elections.

 

The president stressed taking full legal measures that would lead to canceling the elections. And return it in any district where violations are proven to have occurred, in order to preserve the will of voters and protect their inherent right to choose their representatives freely.
