The country was affected by the extension of the Siberian High… and the temperature dropped by 6 degrees during December

Amr Bayoumi – Abu Dhabi
The National Center of Meteorology expects that the country will be affected during the month of December by the extension of the Siberian Ridge extending from the north, accompanied by northeasterly winds that cause a noticeable drop in temperatures during the night, especially in the interior and mountainous areas. The country will also be affected during this month by the passage of air depressions coming from the west, leading to the multiplication of clouds and the opportunity for rain to fall at times, while the relative humidity increases, especially in the early morning as a result of the passage of moderate air masses over the waters of the Gulf towards the country, which creates the opportunity for the formation of light and dense fog.
In detail, the center explained that December is considered the last month of the fall season, as winter begins astronomically in the last third of it, specifically on the twenty-third of December, and climatically December is one of the winter months, and the maximum and minimum temperature rates decrease by 3-6 degrees compared to November.
The center indicated that the weather tomorrow, Thursday, will be humid in the morning, with the possibility of mist or light mist forming over some coastal and inland areas – partly cloudy to cloudy at times, and low clouds will appear, especially on the islands and some western coastal areas, and the winds will be northeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate speed, and the sea will have light waves in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
