A shock to Al Ahly.. Revealing the diagnosis of Karim Fouad’s injury and the duration of his absence
Karim Fouad, the Egyptian national team player participating in the Arab Cup, suffered an injury during the team’s training yesterday, which consisted of a bruise in the knee, and as a result, Dr. Ayman Zein, the national team’s doctor, performed first aid.
This morning, the player, accompanied by the national team’s doctor, went to Aspetar Hospital. To conduct the necessary examinations and x-rays.
Dr. Ayman Zein announced that the results of the x-rays confirmed that the player suffered from sprains in the inner ligament of the right knee, in addition to sprains in the cruciate ligament patch.
Zein explained that the condition requires conservative treatment for a period ranging between four and six weeks, and thus he became outside the accounts of the technical staff in the Arab Cup Championship, in a strong shock to the Al-Ahly club fans who were waiting for his return from the Pharaohs’ camp to strengthen the team’s ranks.
With Emphasis on full coordination with the Al-Ahly Club’s medical staff regarding follow-up of the treatment program.
