Next Monday at 2 p.m., the Journalism Excellence Awards ceremony
– Shorbagy welcomes the winners at the headquarters of the National Press Authority

The National Press Authority decided to launch its second edition of the “Journalistic Excellence” award. For journalistic works published in newspapers, magazines and electronic portals " Starting from the first of January until the end of next June. Caricature, photojournalism, artistic direction, video journalism, data and investigative journalism, and a special award for managing electronic platforms, in addition to the ideal administrator and ideal worker awards as nominated by the boards of directors of press institutions.
The authority is preparing for the awards ceremony for the first edition at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, December 8, at the authority’s headquarters located in Garden City.
The authority has named the great journalist writer “Sana” “The Bessie” In its first edition, the editors-in-chief of national newspapers will be honored, as well as the " Al-Youm Weekly News, and the Middle East News Agency " For their professional achievement in covering the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Engineer Abdel Sadiq El-Shorbagy, Chairman of the National Press Authority, welcomed Ms. Sanaa El-Beisi and the colleagues who won the first edition’s awards, and stressed the excellence of the national press and its ability to excel and take off.
Al-Shorbagy added that the Authority launched the award as a reward for distinguished colleagues, and to stimulate journalistic energies to bring about the required shift in journalism, administration, and workers, and the national press is rich in talent and capabilities. Capable of catching up with the anticipated electronic shift.
