A partnership between Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club and Shenzhen, China

Al Ain Chess and Mental Games Club signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Chinese Shenzhen Pingcheng Club, one of the most prominent clubs specialized in mental games on the Asian continent.

This step comes within a series of strategic partnerships that the club concludes with sports and cultural institutions around the world to enhance its international presence.

The agreement was signed by Al Ain Club’s Managing Director and CEO, Hisham Al Taher, while the Chinese side was represented by Mr. Cao Yang, CEO of Shenzhen Club, which is one of the largest mental games clubs in China and includes more than 300,000 players, male and female.

Al Ain Chess and Mind Games Club said in a press statement today, Thursday, that this agreement aims to enhance the exchange of technical and administrative expertise, organize joint training programs, and support the development of emerging talents in the two countries, in addition to launching joint initiatives in the fields of sports innovation, and hosting international tournaments in chess and mind games.

The two sides revealed that the agreement was included within the “Global Move” initiative, which aims to expand the scope of global events for mental games, as the “Al Ain Overseas International Chess Festival – China” will be organized next summer in the city of Shenzhen, to be the first international event held outside the UAE, jointly organized by the two clubs.

The statement stressed that the agreement represents an extension of the club’s efforts to build a strong international relations network and attract pioneering experiences, which supports its plans for global leadership in the mental games sector, and enhances the position of the Emirate of Al Ain as an advanced center for these sports.

This partnership will open broader horizons for players, coaches and administrators on both sides, through experience exchange programs, training camps, and joint events that bring together Emirati and Chinese talents, which contributes to raising the level of competition and developing their technical levels.
