"National for Women": Intensive follow-up of women’s participation in the run-off round of parliamentary elections

The National Council for Women confirmed that it will continue to monitor the participation of Egyptian women in the constituencies in which the run-off round is being held in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, through the central operations room and sub-chambers in the governorates.
Dr. Nisreen Al-Baghdadi, Vice President of the Council, inspected the work of the operating room for the second day of the run-off round, in the presence of Dr. Rasha Mahdi, Council member and Rapporteur of the Political Participation Committee, and Yasmine Zakaria, Director General of Campaigns and Awareness, Samah Abdel Nafi, Director General of Program Planning, in addition to the coordinators of the central room and the coordinators of the sub-rooms via video conferencing technology.
Dr. Nisreen praised the turnout of women in the governorates subject to return, and reviewed the follow-up reports on indicators of participation since the beginning of the day, stressing the importance of the role played by the women’s police in organizing the electoral process within the committees and facilitating procedures before them. Women voters.
The operations room witnessed real-time monitoring of women’s participation rates, and the efforts of women voter support teams to facilitate the process of casting votes, in addition to monitoring complaints and dealing with them immediately in order to enhance the effective participation of Egyptian women in the electoral entitlement.
The runoff round will be held in the governorates of Giza, Alexandria, Beheira, Qena, Assiut, and Sohag. And Fayoum.
