The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah receives the President of the Republic of Ecuador
Ras Al Khaimah, 8 December / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received today, at His Highness’s Palace in Saqr Bin Mohammed City, His Excellency Daniel Noboa, President of the Republic of Ecuador, who is currently visiting the country.
His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah welcomed His Excellency the President of Ecuador and his accompanying delegation, and discussed with him ways to strengthen and develop friendly relations and cooperation in various fields, in a way that supports development priorities and achieves ambitions and aspirations.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to cooperation and joint work between Ras Al Khaimah and Ecuador in many economic, investment and development sectors were reviewed, in addition to exchanging views on a number of issues of common interest.
For his part, His Excellency the President of the Republic of Ecuador expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah for the warm reception and generous hospitality, stressing his country’s pride in the distinguished and growing relations it has with the UAE, and its prominent position at the regional and international levels.
His Excellency also praised the role played by the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in terms of the country’s economic and investment development, expressing his country’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation and explore opportunities for cooperation and partnership.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ibrahim Salem Al Alawi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Non-Resident Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Republic of Ecuador, and a number of senior officials.
