Cyclist Mohammed Al Marzouqi leads the Turk team to the top of the “amateur” race in the Kalba Road Race

Cyclist Mohammed Al Marzouqi from the Turk cycling team won the top spot in the amateur category of the Kalba Road Race in the local league competition, for a distance of 66 km, with the participation of 150 cyclists from the under-23 club categories, for youth, amateurs and residents. The race was held in the city of Kalba and organized by the Cycling Federation.
For his part, Turk team manager Zaal bin Zaal said in press statements today, Monday, that “winning second place in the team standings, and Al Marzouqi topping the amateur riders, came as a result of the teamwork of the players,” and he expressed his appreciation for the support of the sponsors, which had a great impact on the excellence achieved by the team’s players.
It is noteworthy that the Turk Team is an Emirati community amateur team that was founded in 2015, by a group of young citizens who enjoy cycling, with the aim of encouraging the practice of sports in general, and attracting more young people to adopt a healthier lifestyle.
