A new victory for Jordan overthrows Egypt and gives Al-Nashama a perfect lead in the Arab Cup

The Jordanian national team confirmed its right to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup “Qatar 2025”, after concluding its campaign in the third group with a full score, following its well-deserved victory over its Egyptian counterpart with a score of 3-0.
The Pharaohs missed a valuable opportunity to qualify, despite Jordanian coach Jamal Al-Salami’s decision to rest a number of key players after ensuring promotion, but the “Nashama” imposed their control from the first minutes. They translated their superiority by scoring the first goal through Mohamed Abu Hashish, who took advantage of an Egyptian defensive error to fire a powerful shot that landed in the net of goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam in the 19th minute.
After the goal, the Egyptian team was unable to keep up with the high Jordanian team, especially in the middle of the field, as the Nashama players exploited the gap behind the left back, Yahya Zakaria. On this front in particular, Muhammad Abu Zureiq succeeded in doubling the score, after he received the ball inside the area and shot it perfectly with his left hand into the far corner from the goalkeeper.
Al-Fakhouri’s return almost decided the match completely at the beginning of the second half, after he took advantage of a mistake by defender Hamdi Al-Wansh and scored a third goal, but the video technology canceled the goal due to a mistake committed before the scoring process.
However, Ali Alwan succeeded on another occasion to score the third goal for the Jordanian team, through a penalty kick executed to the right of the goalkeeper in the 90th + 2nd minute.
