Health: Closure of a women’s health center operating without a license and run by an impersonator of a doctor
The Ministry of Health and Population closed a women’s health center called “Woman Health Clinic” Beauty Center located on Almaza Street, off Al-Thawra Street in Heliopolis, for operating without a license and violating health requirements, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, to tighten control over private medical facilities in order to preserve the safety of citizens.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, explained that immediately after monitoring the center’s propaganda on social media sites and its promotion of procedures and injections Cosmetic, a joint campaign was formed by the Department of Free Therapy in the Directorate of Health Affairs in Cairo and the Internet Investigations in the Ministry of Interior.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of the so-called Ibrahim Nour El-Din, who holds a Bachelor of Laws, who runs the center and impersonates a cosmetic doctor under the name “Dr. Ahmed Noamani», pharmaceutical preparations were also found in violation of the Pharmacy Practice Law and the regulations of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, in addition to being proven to have defrauded citizens by tricking them into investing in the sale of medicines and seizing their money.
For his part, Dr. Hisham Zaki, Head of the Central Administration for Non-Governmental Treatment Institutions and Licensing, confirmed that the center was closed and waxed immediately, and the accused was arrested and referred to the Public Prosecution for investigation. Investigation.
The Ministry renewed its call on citizens to verify the licenses of medical facilities and the qualifications of those in charge of them before receiving any medical or cosmetic services, stressing the continuation of intensive oversight campaigns at the republic level to monitor and control violations and protect the health of citizens.
