Yazan Al-Naimat suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament

The medical examinations and x-rays that Jordanian national team player Yazan Al-Naimat underwent after the match between Al-Nashama and his Iraqi counterpart in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup showed that he had suffered a tear in his anterior cruciate ligament, according to what the Jordanian Al-Mamlaka TV channel reported on the Jordanian Football Association.
It is expected that the player will be absent from the field for a period ranging between 6 to 9 months.
The match witnessed the injury of the “Al-Nashama” striker in the 7th minute, so he restrained himself and continued playing before he was replaced in the 14th minute, to be replaced by Aouda Al-Fakhoury.
Al-Nashama qualified for the semi-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup after defeating the Iraqi team with an unanswered goal.
