Jawaher Al Qasimi witnesses a ceremony "This is where it starts"

Sharjah, 13 December / WAM / The wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, witnessed this evening at the Sharjah Children and Sajaya Sharjah Girls Centers in the Al Qarayen area, the exceptional ceremony that celebrated one thousand graduates of the Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, and Sajaya Sharjah Girls and Sharjah Capacity Development Institutions.

The ceremony brought together forty of the founding generation of quarter-century institutions and the employees who presented a summary of their experience spanning more than 20 years, as these figures contributed to establishing a distinguished educational and cultural environment to raise generations who today have become effective leaders in the nation’s institutions.

The ceremony was held as part of a strategic initiative organized by the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation under the title “From Here is the Beginning” as an embodiment of the depth of the cultural project led by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, over four decades of investing in people, starting with the first children’s library in Sharjah, to a pioneering institution that has proven its ability to be unique in pioneering youth work through a well-established system concerned with building and empowering conscious and influential generations capable of creating the future and overcoming its challenges.

Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi addressed the impact makers who led the successful and extended march of the “Quarter Century” institutions, saying: This is how Sharjah accustomed us and the leader of its cultural vision, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, that man is the foundation, and you are the ones who drew the first steps in the path of the “Quarter Century” institutions, and you are the pioneers who launched the first seed of a path that His Highness believed in and you believed in, so it grew at your hands and became a project. Nationally, it creates leaders and embraces creativity and innovation. Over the years, your vision and commitment have contributed to building conscious and creative generations capable of anticipating the future and creating it, until the impact you have instilled is present in every member and graduate of institutions for a quarter of a century. We are proud of you and the journey you have led with determination and faith and the positive transformation you have brought about in our societies.

In her speech, Her Highness also sent a message to the graduates of quarter-century institutions, where she said: Years have passed, and every day you have opened a new page of a story that you wrote with perseverance and determination to build your personalities and hone your skills. You have learned that the path does not flourish except with knowledge, does not soften except with patience, and does not shine except when love of the homeland is combined with purity of intention and lofty purpose. At every station you proved that you are capable of carrying the message of goodness and creating a future worthy of you and the land that embraced you and from this legacy. The beautiful thing is that you spent a quarter of a century in “a quarter of a century”. I watched you gain knowledge, compete in sports, create crafts and arts, savor music, simulate life in the theater, and harness technology to serve society. Through all of that, I found you learning responsibility, loving your country, and striving to create a compassionate society that always strives for good. You are my sons and daughters, and I am proud of your personalities, which are the face of Sharjah. Do not neglect any of that, and continue the journey of self-knowledge, then knowledge of society and its needs. Be helpful to the nation and the nation will be proud of you.

For her part, Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director General of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, expressed her pride in the cultural development march that began four decades ago, and in its essence, it recalled the memory of Sharjah in 1985 when His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah opened the first children’s library in the Riffa neighborhood until the march expanded to include more than 30 centers that embraced the children of Sharjah and provided learning environments in which talents grow and personalities capable of leadership and creativity are formed. The system was completed with the establishment of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation to create leaders and innovators in 2016 under one umbrella that provides integrated paths in various fields and produces conscious generations capable of creating the future, under the generous patronage and great interest of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, who wanted these centers to be houses of knowledge and fertile spaces for realizing dreams.

She emphasized that celebrating the graduates of this march is a celebration of the vision of the founders and the efforts of the work teams that carried this message with firm belief, and that every graduate who stands before us today is a success story that extended over time and carried one meaning. When the path is illuminated by a person, the entire future shines.

In a speech she delivered on behalf of the graduates, Khawla Al Hawai, Director of the Sharjah Children’s Foundation, pointed out that the innovative experiences embraced by institutions for a quarter of a century contributed to building her personality and established in her the values ​​of teamwork and a sense of responsibility, stressing that the skills and knowledge she acquired in childhood formed the basis of her giving today and her contributions to creating creative experiences for future generations.

The “From Here is the Beginning” initiative is considered an embodiment of the prominent pioneering role of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation in qualifying future generations to become leaders, innovators and heroes who carry the torch of knowledge that began in Sharjah and illuminate new paths with it at the local and global levels.

The atmosphere of the celebration extended to the outdoor courtyards of the Sharjah Children’s Centers and Sajaya Girls of Sharjah in the Al-Qarayen area in Sharjah through a series of accompanying activities embodied in the collectibles exhibition, which included works of art, pictures, medals and shields that reflect the journey of the graduates’ achievements, as well as a group of interactive stations that included visual displays, documentary materials, historical collectibles, classic games, and artistic sessions using robots that combine entertainment, learning, and knowledge in a comprehensive experience that reflects the journey of the institutions of a quarter of a century from its inception until today.

The From Here is the Beginning initiative provided graduates with a live media experience that sheds light on their experiences and the most important programs they participated in across institutions for a quarter of a century, highlighting their impact on their professional careers and qualifying them to occupy vital, influential jobs in the service of their community.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikha Aisha bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director General of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation, Sheikha Nawar bint Ahmed Al Qasimi, Director of the Sharjah Arts Foundation, and a number of employees of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation and leaders of government institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
