"Health Festival" In Abu Dhabi, the concept of health is established as a way of life for the family
ABU DHABI, 16 December / WAM / The first edition of the “Health Festival 2025”, organized by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center and concluding today on Al Hudayriat Island, is an integrated educational platform that aims to consolidate the concept of health as a practical and easy-to-apply lifestyle for all family members.
Dr. Omniyat Mohammed Al Hajri, Executive Director of the Community Health Sector at the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center, said that the festival allows visitors to learn about the basic themes that ensure practicing a healthy lifestyle on a daily basis, noting that its activities included the healthy food theme, which provides visitors with ways to prepare healthy and balanced foods, and enhances children’s patience skills by growing fruits that they will consume in the future.
Al Hajri added in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, WAM, that the festival includes a “Psychological Well-Being” section, which provides educational and training activities that help participants deal with the pressures of daily life, while enhancing the values of mutual support and effective communication as a basis for overcoming challenges and achieving psychological balance.
She pointed out that the “Physical Activity Axis” activities were designed to include competitions and group activities in which parents and children participate, with a focus on the spirit of cooperation and teamwork, which enhances physical fitness and instills the values of positive competition.
She pointed out that the festival includes a “Healthy Sleep” section, which highlights the importance of regulating sleep and its direct impact on quality of life and public health, and provides visitors with practical strategies for implementing a healthy and organized sleep pattern.
The festival’s activities will move to Madinat Zayed Park in Al Dhafra during the period from 19 to 21 December, and its activities will conclude in Al Jahili Park in Al Ain during the period from 26 to 28 of the same month, ensuring that the festival reaches the largest possible number of residents of various regions, and allows them to benefit from the educational and awareness-raising themes and activities that it offers.
