Dembélé wins “The Best” award for the best player in the world for the year 2025

Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé, player of the French club Paris Saint-Germain, was crowned with the “The Best” award for the best player in the world for the year 2025, awarded by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), in a ceremony held in the Qatari capital, Doha, today.
Dembélé had an amazing season with Paris Saint-Germain, during which he led the team to win the Champions League title after a landslide 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the final, in addition to the local double by achieving the French League and French Cup titles.
The 28-year-old French star was crowned the best player in the Champions League and the best player in the French League, and he also contributed to Paris Saint-Germain reaching the Club World Cup final with a charming attacking style, before the team’s hopes for more glory were dashed by Chelsea at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey.

Dembélé won the Ballon d’Or for the best footballer of the year 2025 presented by France Football magazine, earlier this year.
