Egypt defeats Nigeria in the final rehearsal before the African Nations
The Egyptian national team achieved an important victory over its Nigerian counterpart, with a score of 2-1, in the friendly match that brought them together as part of the two teams’ preparations for the African Cup of Nations.
The Egyptian national team took the lead first through Mahmoud Saber in the 27th minute after a distinguished pass from Ahmed Sayed Zizo, before the Nigerian national team succeeded in equalizing in the last minute of stoppage time of the first half, taking advantage of a mistake by goalkeeper Mohamed. El-Shenawy.
In the second half, Mustafa Mohamed restored the lead for the Pharaohs by scoring the second goal in the 52nd minute, after receiving a perfect pass from Zizou, and he shot the ball strongly from the right side inside the penalty area into the net.
The match was strong and equal in its various periods, and the Egyptian national team succeeded in maintaining its lead until the final whistle, to achieve a victory. Important morally before the upcoming official benefits.
