The former Al-Ahly star warns: Pressure from the Football Association may affect Hossam Hassan

Hani Ramzy, the former star of Al-Ahly and the Egyptian national team, believes that Hossam Hassan’s continuation of leadership after the end of the African Cup of Nations competitions, regardless of the results, is inevitable.
Hani Ramzy, who was a guest of the journalist Omar Rabie Yassin on his program “Man to Man”, said: On his official page: “Hossam Hassan must continue leading the Egyptian national team after the African Nations, whatever the results, and I am confident in the dean’s ability to achieve good results with the Pharaohs in the tournament, and we must all support him.”
Hany Ramzy added: “But the reality confirms that the Football Association is equipped as a replacement for Hossam Hassan, and is waiting for the end of the African Nations to announce the appointment of a foreign coach to lead the Egyptian national team. If Hossam Hassan continues in the tournament knowing this, he will be tense and stressed, and this is not in the best interest of the team.”
Ramzy pointed out the importance of supporting the current technical staff, while maintaining the stability of the team during the tournament, so that the morale and technical readiness of the players are not affected.
He stressed that Hossam Hassan has sufficient experience to deal with pressure and achieve positive results, and that the fans and the media must be supportive of him throughout the tournament.
Ramzy also stressed that any change before the tournament may lead to Player tension, which may negatively reflect on performance on the field.
He concluded his speech by calling for unity and solidarity for the benefit of the national team, stressing that the stability of the technical leadership is the primary factor for achieving good results in the African Cup of Nations.
