Emirates boats raise their readiness for the final round of the World Championship"Formula 1"
Abu Dhabi, December 17 / WAM / UAE boats have raised their level of readiness in preparation for participating in the final round of the Formula 1 World Powerboat Championship, hosted by the Emirate of Sharjah on Saturday and Sunday, December 20 and 21, amid great ambitions to end the season on a strong note, and achieve the title of the final round.
The Victory, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah teams will compete in the decisive final round, with the Victory 4 boat in first place, the winner of the last round in Jdeidah, Saudi Arabia, leading the overall standings of the World Championship with a total of 161 points, followed by
The Sharjah team is in second place (120 points), then the Sweden team is in third place (111 points), and both the Chinese teams (73 points) and Abu Dhabi (62 points) are in fourth and fifth places.
The Victory 4 boat, through its driver Sean Torronti, is looking forward to clinching the world title and maintaining its superiority over the past rounds by clinching the title of the final round and maintaining the points difference between it and its closest competitors, and thus clinching the title of the Formula 1 World Powerboat Championship.
The Sharjah team, affiliated with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, is seeking to win the final round in its favor and win the title in its favour, amid the full readiness of the team that aspires to achieve a new achievement that will be added to the club’s record of successes in marine sports.
Despite its distance from the competition, the Abu Dhabi team is looking forward to ending the season on a strong note, and through its racers Eric Stark, captain of the Abu Dhabi boat 6, and Mansour Al Mansouri, the captain of the Abu Dhabi boat 5, is looking forward to climbing to the podium in the final round, and presenting a strong performance that reflects the team’s position and long experience in the world championship.
