A disappointing draw between Angola and Zimbabwe in the African Nations

The confrontation between Angola and Zimbabwe was decided in a positive draw with one goal, today, at the Marrakesh Grand Stadium, in the second round of the second group competitions of the African Cup of Nations, hosted by Morocco.
Gelson Dala opened the scoring for Angola (24), and Knowledge Musona equalized for Zimbabwe (45+6).
Angola won the first point in this edition, placing third in the group on goal difference against Zimbabwe, fourth, while Egypt and South Africa lead with three points each before their confrontation today.
A draw is not beneficial for either team in a difficult group.
The champion and runner-up of each group, along with the best 4 teams in third place in the six groups, qualify for the final 16.
The match was characterized by equality between the two teams, who created many chances throughout the two halves, but neither of them was able to reach the net again, especially in the second half.
After relative control, Gilson was able to open the scoring when he converted the perfect cross sent by Tu Carneiro with one touch directly into the net in the 24th minute.
The Zimbabwe national team took control and sought to equalize, which was achieved by Musona with a wonderful shot following a perfect pass from Bill Anton in the sixth minute of stoppage time in the first half.
The goalkeepers of Angola, Hugo Marquez, and Zimbabwean goalkeeper, Washington Arupe, excelled in saving their net in the second half.
