The Ruler of Sharjah issues an Emiri decree forming the Al Hawami District Council in the city of Khor Fakkan
Sharjah, December 29 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an Emiri decree regarding the formation of the Al Hawami District Council in the city of Khor Fakkan.
The decree stipulated that the Al-Hawami Suburb Council in the city of Khor Fakkan be formed, headed by Khamis Salem Khamis Muslim Al-Naqbi, and the membership of Abdullah Ali Muhammad bin Aboud Al-Naqbi, Muhammad Abdullah Muhammad Al-Jarrah Al-Hammadi, Naimi Ali Mubarak Al-Shehhi, Ali Yousef Ali Saqr Al-Hammadi, Talal Hassan Jalal Ahmed Al-Hooti, Dr. Amina Yousef Khalfan Al-Naqbi, and Abeer Ismail Ahmed Khalifa. Al Hosani.
According to the decree, the Council elects a Vice-President at its first meeting from among the members by agreement or by direct secret ballot and by a majority of those present. The Vice-President replaces the President of the Council in all his powers in the event of his absence or a vacancy in his position.
According to the decree, the term of membership in the district council is four years, starting from the date of its formation, and it continues to carry out its duties upon the expiration of its term until a new council is appointed. Those whose membership term has expired may be reappointed for one term.
