Dubai parking is free during the New Year holidays

The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai announced that public parking will be free during the New Year’s holiday, which falls on Thursday, January 1, 2026, with the exception of multi-storey parking and Al Khail Gate N-365, with toll charges resuming on Friday, January 2, 2026.

It also clarified the working hours of customer happiness centres, public transport buses, the Dubai Metro and Tram, marine transport means, and service provider centers (technical vehicle inspection).

Customer happiness centers

It indicated that all of its customer happiness centers will be closed during the New Year holiday, January 1, 2026. While the smart customer happiness areas in Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, Al Kifaf, and the Authority’s main building will operate as usual, around the clock.

Service Providers Centers (Technical Inspection)

Service provider centers will also be closed during the New Year holiday, January 1, 2026, and official work will resume on Friday, January 2, 2026, according to approved working hours.

Public transportation buses (Dubai Bus)

It called on users to find out about changes to bus schedules during the New Year holiday, January 1, 2026, through the Suhail application.

She indicated that line No. E100 will not operate from the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station starting in the afternoon of December 31, and the last trip will be at 12:00 noon from Abu Dhabi and 2:00 pm from the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station until January 4, 2026. Calling for the use of bus line No. E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period.

She also explained that bus line No. E102 will operate from Ibn Battuta Bus Station on December 31 from 02:00 pm onwards until the end of the day.
