Al Dhafra defeats Khor Fakkan… and advances to seventh place

Al Dhafra achieved a valuable victory outside its home base at the expense of its host, Khor Fakkan, with a score of 3-2, today, Friday, in the 11th round of the ADNOC Professional Football League.

With this victory, Al Dhafra temporarily advanced to seventh place after raising its score to 15 points, while Khor Fakkan’s score stopped at 11 points in tenth place.

Al Dhafra advanced after a mistake by Khorfakkan defender Abdullah Al-Rifai, who tried to clear Khalil Ibrahim’s cross, accidentally putting the ball into his team’s net (19).

Ahmed Jashk brought Khor Fakkan back into the atmosphere of the match by scoring the equalizing goal, after a ball he received on the edge of the penalty area, which he shot with his left hand into the net (25).

At the beginning of the second half, Mohamed Al-Maghribi Mohamed Al-Khali was able to restore the lead in favor of the visitors (47), after receiving a cross ball inside the penalty area and shooting it with complete comfort, without the slightest harassment from the defence.

Rayan widened the gap in favor of Al Dhafra with a wonderful shot that landed to the right of the goalkeeper (84), before Laurence reduced the gap for Khor Fakkan with a penalty kick, but it was not enough to return the score (88).
