America.. New demonstrations are expected in opposition to the killing of a woman by police bullets

New demonstrations are planned across United States Over the weekend, after a woman was shot dead by an officer in Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Minneapolis, at a time when local officials criticized federal agencies for excluding them from the investigation.
Protest organizers said they expected more than a thousand demonstrations to be held over the weekend, after Renee Nicole Goode, 37, was shot dead by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent at point-blank range on Wednesday, while she was apparently trying to flee in her car.
Officials in Minnesota said that local law enforcement agencies were excluded. From the investigation of The shooting incident, and a local prosecutor explained on Friday that federal investigators took Goode’s car and bullet casings from the scene.
Self-defense
The administration of President Donald Trump sought to portray Goode as "Domestic terrorist"confirming that the immigration officer who shot her acted in self-defense.
A cell phone video clip, which is believed to have been filmed by the policeman who opened fire, appears approaching Good’s car and going around it, while she tells him "I’m not angry with you"
After he passed in front of the car, another officer was heard ordering Goode to get out of the vehicle before it attempted to drive off, and then gunshots were heard. At the end of the clip, the policeman filming the video is heard cursing at her.
Immigration Police in America
The White House confirmed that the video reinforces the policeman’s story that he acted in self-defense, even though the clip does not show the moment the car moved or the moment of the shooting.
US Vice President Jay Dee Vance had said Thursday that the immigration police officer, whose name was reported by American media as Jonathan Ross, has… "With absolute immunity"which was appealed by local prosecutors.
Judicial files seen by AFP showed that Ross was dragged 100 yards (91 metres) on a road in June 2025, by a car driven by a man targeted in an immigration enforcement action.
