The departure of Essam Fayez is influential, but Ajman is bigger than any player

The manager of the Ajman team, Muhammad Hussein, confirmed that the loss to Shabab Al-Ahly 0-1 in the 14th round of the professional league, yesterday, Wednesday, was an extension of the difficult circumstances that the team is going through, noting that the departure of player Issam Fayez to Al-Nasr was one of the most prominent factors affecting the team’s results in the recent period, but at the same time he stressed that Ajman is a big club and does not stop at any player, as he put it.

Ajman’s loss led to its score being frozen at 14 points in 11th place, without achieving any victory in the last five rounds, after suffering four losses and a draw in one match, in a series of results that put the team under great pressure.
Muhammad Hussein told «Emirates Today»: “We are living in a difficult period, and bad luck accompanied us in more than one match.. Against Al Dhafra, we conceded a goal at the last second, and in the Kalba match, we played without players due to expulsion, but without a doubt, the absence of Issam Fayez was very influential, as he is one of the basic elements and had a great influence in the attack.”
He added: “Issam received several offers, and we respect any player’s desire to have a new experience, and therefore the club agreed to his transfer. Despite the impact of his departure, we always say it: Ajman Club does not depend on any player, and the club is bigger than any name, whatever it may be.”
The Ajman administrator confirmed that the team entered the Shabab Al-Ahly match suffering from other influential absences: “Silva and Bilal Youssef were absent due to injuries, and we had previously lost players due to injuries during the preparation period, and all of this affected the group’s harmony.”
He concluded: “Losing at your home stadium is psychologically difficult, but we trust the players and the technical staff. With the return of the injured and the correction of mistakes, we will return to achieving positive results. The season is still long, and Ajman is capable of correcting the course.”
