Al Ain ends Dibba’s adventure with a hat-trick… and qualifies for the semi-finals of the “Cup”

The Al Ain team qualified for the semi-finals of the President’s Cup, after ending the Dibba adventure with a clean 3-0, in the match that brought together the two teams this Saturday evening at Rashid Stadium in Dubai, in a match witnessed by about a thousand spectators.

Al-Zaeem gave a distinguished performance, through which he confirmed his superiority and succeeded in snatching the qualification ticket at the expense of the Dibba team, which had caused a resounding surprise in the last round by eliminating the Al-Wasl team.

The first half witnessed an organized defensive performance from the Dibba team, which succeeded in ending it in a goalless draw, before Al Ain took control at the beginning of the second half, as Moroccan star Sofiane Rahimi was able to open the scoring in the 53rd minute, giving his team a great morale boost.

Substitute Laba Kodjo increased Al Ain’s lead by scoring the second goal in the 76th minute, before Rahimi returned again to conclude the hat-trick with a third goal in the 79th minute, confirming the passage to the semi-finals.
