Ministerial reshuffle includes the appointment of 7 new ministers in Kuwait

Today, an Amiri Decree was issued in the State of Kuwait, bearing the number (11 of 2026), requiring a ministerial reshuffle to a number of ministerial portfolios in the Kuwaiti government, as part of an effort to enhance the efficiency of government performance in a number of vitally important sectors.
The ministerial reshuffle, in the government of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah, included the appointment of Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yaqoub Yousef Al-Sayyid Hashem Al-Rifai as Minister of Finance, Osama Khalid Abdullah Boodai as Minister of Trade and Industry, Reem Ghazi Saud Al-Fulaij as Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs, Tariq Hamad Nasser Al-Jalahma as Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, and Abdulaziz Nasser Abdulaziz Al-Marzouq as Minister of State for Economic Affairs. and Investment, and Abdullah Sobeih Abdullah Bouftin, Minister of Information and Culture.
The decree amended the appointment of Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al Omar to become Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Affairs.
