The UAE and 7 Arab and Islamic countries condemn the repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire in Gaza

The Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Turkey, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the State of Qatar express their strong condemnation of the repeated violations committed by Israel of the ceasefire in Gaza, which resulted in the death and injury of more than a thousand Palestinians.
The Ministers affirm that these practices represent a dangerous escalation that would inflame tensions and undermine efforts to maintain calm and consolidate stability, at a time when the efforts of regional and international parties are joining forces to move forward with the implementation of the second phase of the peace plan proposed by President Donald Trump, and to implement United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2803.
The Ministers affirm that the repetition of these violations constitutes a direct threat to the political process, in a way that would hinder the ongoing efforts to create the appropriate conditions for the transition to a more stable phase in the Gaza Strip on the security and humanitarian levels. The Ministers stress the need for full commitment to ensure the success of the second phase of the peace plan.
The Ministers also call on all parties to fully assume their responsibilities during this delicate stage, and to exercise the utmost restraint, in order to preserve the ceasefire and ensure its sustainability, and to refrain from any actions or practices that would undermine the current efforts, and to create favorable conditions to move forward towards early recovery and reconstruction.
The Ministers reaffirm the importance of reaching a just, comprehensive and lasting peace, based on the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and to establish their independent state in accordance with international law, the relevant Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
