Dibba wins the “top of the bottom” in front of Baniyas and ignites the struggle for survival

The Dibba team ignited the struggle to escape relegation, after achieving a very important victory at the expense of its guest, Bani Yas, with a score of 2-1, in the “Celestial Summit” that brought the two teams together this evening at Dibba Stadium, in the fifteenth round of the ADNOC Professional Football League, deepening the wounds of “Al Samawi” and pushing it to the bottom of the table.

With this victory, Dibba advanced to twelfth place, raising its score to 12 points, superior to Al Bataeh, who fell to the penultimate place in the matches, and one point ahead of Bani Yas, whose score froze at 11 points and in turn fell to last place, so the trio finds themselves facing a difficult road to escape the downward spiral as the competition enters its decisive stages.

Al-Nawakhatha was the better team in the first half, and they succeeded in opening the scoring in the 18th minute through Carlos Vinicius, who fired a powerful shot from outside the penalty area that escaped the hands of Baniyas goalkeeper Fahad Al-Dhanhani and landed in the net.

In the second half, Baniyas returned to the atmosphere of the match and succeeded in equalizing in the 59th minute through newcomer Moanis Dabour, scoring his first goal in a “Samawi” shirt, to temporarily restore hope to his team.

However, Dibba refused to give up the points, and showed a clear determination to resolve the confrontation, when Andrego de Araujo fired a powerful shot in the 68th minute, which Al-Dhanhani was unable to stop, securing “Al-Nawakhatha” a valuable victory that may be pivotal in the struggle for survival.
