Facing of high artistic quality

Sharjah’s Portuguese coach, Jose Moraes, described his team’s upcoming match tomorrow, Monday, against its host, Al-Duhail, Qatar (20:00 UAE time), in the seventh round of the AFC Champions League for “Elite” clubs, as it will not be easy for the two teams, given that they have equal chances to qualify for the next round, by virtue of their equal number of points, with seven points each.

Moraes pointed out that Al-Duhail is a team with high technical quality and includes distinguished players, stressing at the same time his hope that Al-Sharjah has prepared itself in the best possible way to play the match, considering that the confrontation represents a good and interesting challenge.

Moraes added during the introductory press conference for the match, which was held today, Sunday, in Doha: “For us, it is a match in the AFC Champions League for clubs, and it is considered a high-quality confrontation. The fact is that we have the same number of points as the opposing team, which makes it interesting, as it means that both teams have the same chances to qualify for the next stage of the tournament, but in the end it is a match that has not been played yet.”
