The “Dubai Tennis” draw for professional female players today

The official draw for the 26th edition of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship for women’s professional players, scheduled to start the day after tomorrow, will be drawn today, with prize money amounting to $4.08 million, classified as 1,000 points, during the press conference held in the “Majlis” hall at the “Dubai Duty Free” stadium in the Garhoud area in Dubai.
The current edition witnesses the participation of 18 players from among the top 20 in the world, led by the world’s number one, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who returns to Dubai for the tenth time in her professional career.
World number two, Iga Szvyontek, will also return to Dubai, seeking to make up for her exit from the quarter-finals of last year’s edition, in which she lost to Russian Mira Andreeva in two unanswered sets (6-3, 6-3).
The same applies to the world number seven, Russian Mira Andreeva, who will return to defend her title in Dubai Tennis.
