Ahmed Saeed wins the chess title “The UAE and Kuwait are brothers forever”

Player Ahmed Saeed won the title of the “Emirates and Kuwait – Brothers Forever” Classic Chess Championship, while Ahmed Mohamed Farag came in second place, and Abdul Rahman Al-Ajati came in third, at the conclusion of the competitions hosted by the Al Ain Chess and Mental Games Club, with the participation of about 100 male and female players.

The tournament, which was held over seven rounds, witnessed close technical levels and strong competition that continued until the final round, in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit of sports brotherhood between the Emirates and Kuwait.

The closing ceremony was held in the presence of a number of officials and representatives of sports authorities, including the Vice President of the Kuwaiti Chess Federation, Adel Al-Amiri, and a member of the Board of Directors and Financial Secretary, Counselor Yousef Al-Afrit, in addition to a number of members of the boards of directors and guests.

For his part, Adel Al-Amiri said in press statements that the tournament represents a message of brotherhood and love before it is a sporting competition, noting that the game of chess enhances the values ​​of respect and mutual appreciation between the players, and contributes to consolidating relations between the two brotherly peoples.
