"Dubai Culture" Al Marmoom Wildlife Exhibition concludes and launches its virtual version

Dubai, February 19 / WAM / The Dubai Culture and Arts Authority concluded the Al Marmoom Wildlife Exhibition, which it organized in cooperation with Ali Khalifa bin Thalith, Secretary General of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award, highlighting the Al Marmoom Desert Reserve and highlighting its beauty and environmental diversity as an integral part of the local environment and culture.
The exhibition, which is the first of its kind, attracted more than ten thousand visitors within ten days, as it presented a visual cognitive experience through 24 photographs that documented multiple types of animals and birds in the reserve, in addition to interactive experiences that relied on augmented reality technologies, quick response codes, and innovative videos supported by artificial intelligence technologies.
The Authority announced the launch of the virtual version of the exhibition through a digital platform that allows the public to continue exploring images and interactive experiences until next March 18, in a step that is consistent with its commitment to making art accessible to everyone and promoting the concepts of sustainability and preserving tangible and intangible cultural heritage.
The exhibition witnessed the crowning of the winners of the Al Marmoom Wildlife Competition, where Hazel Arnold won first place, while Nayef Al Hosani came second, and Yousef Hussein third, in appreciation of their interaction with the content of the exhibition.
Shaima Rashid Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of the Arts, Design and Literature Sector at Dubai Culture, confirmed that the exhibition embodied a model that combines art and the environment, and contributed to enhancing awareness of the importance of protecting environmental systems, while Ali Bin Thalith pointed out that the participating works presented a visual narrative that reflects the value of the reserve and its status as a leading environmental and tourism destination.
The exhibition was distinguished by allowing private cars to travel within an organized route, which adopted structures inspired by the nature of the desert and powered by solar energy, ensuring a safe and sustainable viewing experience.
