27 horses participate in "Trial race" The 21st in Maidan

Dubai, February 19 / WAM / 27 purebred Arabian and crossbred horses participated in the 21st trial race held yesterday evening at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, consisting of 5 rounds over a distance of 1,000 metres.

The Emirates Horse Racing Authority indicated that 13 Arabian horses participated in 3 rounds, including 9 horses that had never participated in races, and 4 that participated in them.

She noted that two races were held for purebred crossbred horses, during which 14 horses competed, including 7 that had not previously participated in the races, in addition to 7 that had previously been present in them.

Rashid Al Balushi, a member of the Supervisors Committee of the Emirates Horse Racing Authority, confirmed that trial races will continue to be held at various tracks during the month of Ramadan according to the program approved by the Authority, which contributes to achieving its goals in accordance with best practices, with positive cooperation from the various tracks, riders and owners.
