"Abu Dhabi Arabic Language" Registration for the Research Grants Program is extended until March 16

Abu Dhabi, February 20 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center announced the extension of the application period for the Research Grants Program until March 16, 2026 to allow more time for applicants, due to the increased demand for registration in the sixth edition of the program, “Insights Series for Research and Studies” for the year 2026.
The Center called on researchers and innovators wishing to participate to fill out the application form on the official page of the program on the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre’s website.
The program aims to support the writing of scientific books, and encourage Emirati and Arab researchers and Arabic speakers to submit solid research projects that contribute to consolidating the status of the Arabic language and developing scientific research in it, and building a knowledge base that enriches the Arab library and keeps pace with scientific and cultural transformations.
The program annually provides between 6 and 8 research grants, with a total value of up to 600 thousand dirhams, for research that most adheres to the approved academic conditions and standards.
Research areas include 6 main fields: Arabic lexicon, school curricula, literature and criticism, teaching Arabic to non-native speakers, applied and computational linguistics, and manuscript editing.
Since its launch in 2021, the program has awarded approximately 35 research grants, and its last session witnessed a wide international response by receiving 516 applications for participation from 36 countries, which reflects the growing confidence in the cultural and knowledge initiatives launched by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
