المملكة: Riyadh…an initiative to improve the southern part of Wadi Sulay, with the participation of 200 volunteers
The Riyadh Municipality, in the southern Riyadh sector, implemented a volunteer initiative Diversity of community participation and enhances the culture of volunteer work and shared responsibility.
The initiative resulted in the collection of 9 tons of waste, in addition to implementing awareness-raising activities targeting hikers and valley-goers, focusing on the importance of preserving the natural environment and adhering to positive behaviors in using parks and valleys.
This initiative comes as an extension of the efforts of the Riyadh Municipality in supporting sustainable urban development and enhancing community participation in protecting the environment, which contributes to improving the quality of Life and achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, by building a balanced and sustainable urban environment.
