Ras Al Khaimah Police succeeds in securing the UAE Tour 2026
Ras Al Khaimah, February 20 / WAM / The Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command succeeded in implementing its security plans before and during the third stage of the UAE Cycling Tour 2026, which the emirate hosted on February 18, as part of the eighth edition of the global race, which is held under the supervision of the International Cycling Union and the Abu Dhabi Sports Council.
Ras Al Khaimah Police has developed a comprehensive plan for security and traffic management along the 183-kilometre length of the race route within the emirate, with patrols and checkpoints deployed to ensure the safety of participants and the public.
The police also supervised the organization of road closures and conducted a security and operational rehearsal before the start of the race to ensure that the event ran smoothly and without accidents.
Ras Al Khaimah Police cooperated with local government agencies to provide a safe and supportive environment for the global sporting event, which reflected the success of the emirate’s ability to host and manage international sporting events in the UAE and abroad.
