A well-deserved lead for United… and a hot pursuit in the First Division

The United team, under the leadership of Italian coach Pirlo, achieved an important victory over City, with a score of (2-1), in the match that brought them together this evening, Saturday, at Dubai Sports City Stadium, in the 17th round of the First Division League.
United’s goals were scored by Swiss Haris Seferovic (41) and Portuguese Samuel Luis (68), while City’s goal was accidentally scored by United’s Senegalese player Mustapha Nam (70).
With this result, United maintained its lead in the standings with 34 points, while City’s balance froze at 16 points in 11th place.
In another match, Fujairah achieved an important victory at home against Hatta with a clean goal, scored by Frenchman Sander Benbachir in the 25th minute, raising its score to 29 points in fourth place, while Hatta fell to sixth place with 28 points.
Dibba Al-Hisn returned with a valuable victory from Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Stadium, after defeating Al-Jazira Al-Hamra with a score of (2-1), maintaining second place with 33 points, while Al-Jazira Al-Hamra remained at 12 points in 12th place. The Jordanian Ahmed Walid scored for the latter (25), while the goals of Dibba Al-Hisn were scored by the Brazilian Guilherme Jesus (40) and the Cameroonian Pere Conde (59).
The Emirates Falcons also achieved a valuable victory over Majd, with a score of (2-1), in the match that was held at Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Stadium in Al Ain Club. The goal for “Majd” was scored by the Brazilian Iago Ferreira (24), while the Portuguese Diogo Andreu (51) and the Brazilian Fabio Teixeira (90 + 2) scored for the Emirates.
“Falcons” raised their score to 28 points in seventh place, while “Majd”’s score froze at 10 points in 14th place.
