Ajman, February 23 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council, received a delegation from Operation “Gallant Knight 3”, at Al Zaher Palace, in order to follow up on the progress of the final preparations and preparations for the launch of the “Humaid Air Bridge”, to provide relief and support to the Palestinian brothers in Gaza.

His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, directed the launch of a humanitarian air bridge to relieve the Gaza Strip, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan, as part of Operation “The Gallant Knight 3” to support the brotherly Palestinian people and alleviate their suffering in light of the current circumstances.

The delegation included Mohammed Al-Marri, Chairman of the “The Gallant Knight 3” Committee, Hamoud Al-Afari, Coordinator of Relief Operations, and Hamad Al-Mulla, the Committee’s Media Coordinator, in addition to the journalist Abdullah bin Shafi Al-Kaabi, the social media influencer for Operation “The Gallant Knight 3”.

At the beginning of the meeting, in the presence of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, His Highness received congratulations from the members of the delegation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, and was briefed on the operational plans for the air bridge and the schedule of relief shipments, to ensure their efficient and rapid arrival to those affected in the sector.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman stressed that the launch of the “Humaid Air Bridge” under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, embodies the approach of giving rooted in the UAE, and reflects our fraternal and humanitarian commitment towards our brothers in Gaza, especially in these virtuous days.

His Highness added that the launch of the “Humaid Air Bridge” is not just a relief initiative, but rather a message of solidarity that carries goodness and hope, and an embodiment of the profound humanitarian approach that was laid by the founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and whose path is being followed today by our wise leadership, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him.”

His Highness stressed the importance of coordination between all participating parties, to ensure the rapid arrival of aid to those who need it, praising the pivotal role played by Operation “Gallant Knight 3” in alleviating the suffering of our people in Gaza, as well as the effective role of Ajman Charitable Institutions in humanitarian work inside and outside the country.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Ali Al Raisi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Chairman of the Executive Council, and Mohammed Omar Al Shammari, Director of the Red Crescent Center in Ajman.

For its part, the “The Gallant Knight 3” delegation confirmed that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, and the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi to follow up on preparations to support the brothers in Gaza, reflects the deep humanitarian approach of the UAE, and ensures that aid reaches those who deserve it quickly, stressing that this initiative confirms the spirit of brotherhood and the values ​​of compassion that our country has towards people everywhere.

The launch of the air bridge comes with the participation of a number of charitable organizations in the Emirate of Ajman, namely the Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, the International Charitable Organization, the Emirates Red Crescent, the Al Ihsan Charitable Society, and the Al Ittihad Charitable Foundation, which will prepare the aid and coordinate the shipping and delivery operations, ensuring its rapid arrival to those who deserve it.

The bridge transports various relief aid, including food parcels, health supplies, supplies for children and women, and basic needs, which contributes to supporting affected families and meeting their living needs during the holy month.
