The Ramadan “Laser Run” tournament begins on March 2

The “Laser Run” Ramadan tournament will begin next March 2, as part of the sporting events agenda of the “Hafeet Sports Challenge” festival, which is held during the holy month of Ramadan in the city of Al Ain. The tournament comes within a series of diverse sports competitions held within the framework of the “Hafeet Sports Challenge,” which includes several sports, individual and group games and activities, and aims to enhance physical activity and encourage the community to practice sports during the holy month in a competitive and community spirit.

“Laser Run” is one of the sporting events that will attract participants from different age groups, as it combines running and laser shooting, making it an enjoyable competition that combines fitness and concentration. The tournament contributes to promoting a healthy lifestyle and sports interaction among members of society within the “Hafeet Challenge” activities.

Dr. Hoda Al Matroushi, President of the Modern Pentathlon Federation, said: “Organizing this event represents an important step in spreading the culture of modern pentathlon and enhancing its participation in Emirati society, stressing that this event comes within the federation’s strategy aimed at expanding the spread of the game and encouraging all groups to try a sport that combines physical fitness and laser shooting.”

She added: “Including “Laser Run” among the Ramadan activities at Al Ain Sports Club reflects the importance of integrating modern sports into the activities of the sports community during the holy month, which contributes to promoting healthy lifestyles and spreading the spirit of fair competition, stressing that the federation seeks, through its participation in such events, to provide opportunities for young people and those interested to discover this sport and participate in it directly.”
