Through these efforts, the authority seeks to raise the level of safety and readiness on the road network, and achieve the goals of the road sector program, by reaching the sixth ranking globally in the road quality index, and reducing the number of deaths on the roads to less than 5 cases per 100,000 people; It also aims to cover the road network with traffic safety factors according to the International Road Assessment Program (IRAP) classification, and to maintain an advanced level of services for the road network’s capacity.
