Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi is crowned "Ocean Air" Champion of the third Ras Al Khaimah Volleyball Championship 2026
Ras Al Khaimah, 8 March / WAM / Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport and President of the Asian and Emirati Fencing Federations, crowned the “Ocean Air” team with the title of the third Ras Al Khaimah Volleyball Championship 2026.
This came at the conclusion of the championship competitions, which were held in a distinguished sporting atmosphere, and in the presence of His Excellency Saeed Al-Ajel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Sports for All Federation.
The champion team deservedly won first place after a strong final match characterized by excitement and competition, while the MEH2 team came in second place.
Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi honored the winning teams, supporting entities and sponsors in appreciation of their active role in the success of the sporting event. The honor included Al Ghawas Group as the official sponsor of the tournament, and the Emirates Sports for All Federation as the golden sponsor.
In turn, the organizing committee, headed by Jassim Ahmed Al Dabal, presented a special tribute to Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, in appreciation of his generous sponsorship of the event and his continued support for community sports activities in the emirate.
Sheikh Salem bin Sultan praised the great efforts made by the organizing committee, appreciating the distinguished role and high efficiency of the youth of Ras Al Khaimah in organizing and managing the tournament, and stressed that these efforts reflect the spirit of initiative and excellence among the people of the emirate.
He explained that community sports tournaments contribute directly to enhancing the culture of sports for all and establishing it as a way of life, in addition to their role in attracting young people, encouraging them to practice sports, and creating a positive competitive spirit, in complete harmony with the UAE’s trends in supporting the sports sector and improving the quality of life.
The curtain came down on the championship competitions with wide praise from the participants and the public for the advanced technical level and good organization, which consolidates the championship’s position as a prominent annual sports station that supports the sports movement and enhances community participation in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
