An air strike on a university in Iran… and an explosion in an industrial complex in the occupied territories


University said in Isfahan city central IranIt was subjected to an American-Israeli air strike on Sunday for the second time since the outbreak of war a month ago.

A statement issued by the university and reported by Fars News Agency stated "At around 2pm (10.30 GMT) today, Isfahan University of Technology for the second time (in this war) by a brutal air strike launched by the Zionist-American aggressors"

The statement continued "According to initial reports, the attack on one of the university’s research institutes caused damage to several other buildings, and resulted in minor injuries to four members of the university staff."

A missile batch from Iran

On the other hand, the Israeli occupation army suggested on Sunday that the explosion that occurred in the Ramat Hoviv industrial zone may have resulted from fragments of a missile, shortly after monitoring the launch of a new missile batch from Iran.

The occupation army told Agence France-Presse "We estimate there is trace of missile fragments". Israeli media broadcast footage of thick black smoke rising over the industrial zone located in the Negev desert in the south of the occupied territories.

In a separate statement, the occupation police said "The fire appears to have been caused by dropped ammunition or interception debris"she added "Search operations are continuing to find additional materials and remove any danger to the public".
