The UAE powerlifting team participates in "Asian Thailand"

Abu Dhabi, March 30 / WAM / The UAE powerlifting team will participate in the Asian and Oceania Championships scheduled in the Thai capital, Bangkok, from 7 to 12 April.
Seven male and female players are participating in the tournament: Muhammad Khamis, Abdullah Al Naqbi, Ahmed Al Balushi, Mansour Al Marzouqi, Fahd Ali, Haifa Al Naqbi, and Moza Al Zeyoudi.
Theban Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the National Paralympic Committee, confirmed that the tournament is a qualifying station to participate in the 2026 Asian Games in Japan next October.
He pointed out the National Paralympic Committee’s keenness to participate in the tournament, provide all requirements that contribute to raising the competitive levels of male and female players, and support the continuation of qualification paths for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, praising the clubs’ cooperation in implementing preparation programs for all tournaments.
