المملكة: Islamic Affairs broadcasts the activities of the Tanzania Holy Quran Award qualifiers


This morning, Sunday, Shawwal 17, 1447 AH, the Ministry broadcast the final qualifying events for the Tanzania International Prize for Memorizing the Holy Qur’anat its thirty-fourth session, directly through the display screens in the ministry’s office and its branches, from the sports stadium in the capital, Dar es Salaam, amid a large audience attendance of more than 60,000 Muslims, who arrived from the early morning hours to follow this Qur’anic event.

This came under the guidance and follow-up of Abdul Latif Al Sheikh, Minister of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and within the framework of the Ministry’s interest in following up on its international programs, spreading the message of the Holy Qur’an, and enhancing its advocacy presence. A modern media approach

The Ministry’s media center explained that broadcasting the competition’s activities comes within a modern media approach adopted by the Ministry to keep pace with its international programmes, enhance its institutional presence on the global scene, and highlight the Kingdom’s efforts in serving the Book of God Almighty, in addition to supporting cognitive and administrative integration between its affiliated agencies inside and outside the Kingdom.

The Ministry’s office in Riyadh and a number of its branches witnessed remarkable interaction from the Ministry’s employees who followed The conduct of the qualifiers, appreciating the high level of organization and good preparation, and the competitive atmosphere that characterized the competition among the participants.

They stressed that these international Qur’anic events embody the Kingdom’s message of caring for the Holy Qur’an, and contribute to spreading the values of moderation and moderation in various countries of the Islamic world.
