"Dubai roads" Behavioral Science Awareness Week concludes with applied outcomes that enhance institutional performance and quality of life

DUBAI, 7 APRIL / WAM / The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority concluded the “Behavioral Science Awareness Week for Leaders” activities, which resulted in the development of more than 27 behavioral use cases, aiming to enhance the quality of services and raise the efficiency of the transport and mobility system in the emirate, by employing behavioral science methodologies in designing policies and initiatives.
The organization of the week comes within the framework of the Dubai government’s efforts to adopt behavioral science as a strategic tool that contributes to improving customer experience and supporting evidence-based decision-making, in order to achieve a positive and sustainable impact on the level of institutional performance and quality of life.
Moza Saeed Al Marri, Executive Director of the Executive Affairs Sector at the Roads and Transport Authority, said that the Authority is keen to employ behavioral science as an institutional approach to support the development of services and policies, which contributes to a deeper understanding of customer needs, and the design of more efficient and effective experiences, and enhances the achievement of a sustainable positive impact on the transport and mobility system in Dubai, in line with the directions of the Dubai government to enhance the quality of life and well-being in the emirate.
She added that Behavioral Science Awareness Week represents a practical platform for knowledge exchange and capacity building. It focuses on transforming behavioral concepts into applicable initiatives that contribute to improving customer experience, raising the efficiency of services, and establishing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement in the institutional work environment.
She confirmed that the week’s outcomes included a set of visions and lessons learned that were reviewed during a concluding leadership workshop, in a way that supports the transformation of the acquired knowledge into practical applications and sustainable initiatives in the Authority’s future projects.
The program witnessed the participation of a group of international experts specialized in behavioral science, who presented interactive sessions that focused on designing evidence-based behavioral policies, promoting positive behaviors in the transportation system, and improving customer experience, in addition to supporting institutional decision-making using behavioral models, in a way that enhances the authority’s orientations towards continuous improvement and quality of life in Dubai.
