Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi attends a campaign "Proud of the Emirates" Ras Al Khaimah
Ras Al Khaimah, 13 April / WAM / Under the patronage and presence of Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, and Honorary Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission, the Commission organized, today, a national campaign “Proud of the Emirates” in response to the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “May God protect him”, to enhance the spirit of belonging and loyalty. And consolidating national values among members of society.
The event was witnessed by His Excellency Salem Rashid Al-Maftul Al Ali and Sultan bin Yaqoub Al Zaabi, members of the Federal National Council, His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director General of the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, and Engineer Mohammed Hassan Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission, along with a number of officials and public figures and a large crowd of members of the public of all ages.
Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, accompanied by officials, distributed state flags to the public in front of the flagpole on Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, with the active participation of scouts and volunteers who, through their efforts, embodied manifestations of pride in national identity and pride in wise leadership.
Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi stressed that the call of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to raise the flag represents a sublime national message that reinforces the meanings of identity, and confirms that the UAE will remain a model of cohesion, pride and continuous achievement.
Sheikh Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi said that the “Proud of the Emirates” campaign embodies the highest meanings of loyalty to this dear country, and demonstrates the keenness of its people to express their love for their leadership, and that instilling these values in the souls of generations is a shared responsibility, and we appreciate the efforts of the Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission in organizing these initiatives that consolidate the spirit of the union.
The Ras Al Khaimah Scouts Commission explained that the initiative comes within its community strategy aimed at spreading a spirit of positivity and cohesion among members of society, especially on national occasions that reflect the unity of ranks between the leadership and the people.
The campaign concluded amid wide public interaction, as the participants expressed their happiness with this initiative, which gave them the opportunity to express their pride in the UAE’s achievements in all fields.
